Winter Blitz 2025
Winter Blitz is a holiday-giving program that started 28 years ago at Clackamas High School and is now available to all families in NCSD schools. Families who apply receive food boxes, toiletries, holiday gifts, and clothes. With the new additions of canned goods and some perishables we recieved over 1000+ donations of food. They can also participate in a "pop-up store" and select new, lightly used clothes and household items. Last year, Winter Blitz helped 600+ families and 2000+ students and younger siblings.
Collaborators
Starting in 2021, Adrienne C. Nelson and Clackamas High School have been working on Winter Blitz annually together to expand our outreach to more families in need. This year, we were able to help 200+ families with over 100 volunteers in attendance.
DOnations
This year, we brought back canned goods! For the first time in 6 years, non-perishable food was made available at the winter blitz. With the support of our community, around 1000 cans were donated in addition to fruits and eggs.
